Beautiful Sage Hen Reservoir has much to offer visitors. This lake is one of the great places here in the Salmon River Mountains. The yearly rainfall here at Sage Hen Reservoir is about average; most of the snow falls during January, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful close by hotel is Ashley Inn.
Just can't get enough of the Salmon River Mountains. A trip to Sage Hen Reservoir wouldn't be complete without taking a look

| | at Sprout Spring, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Payette River - North Fork. Sage Hen Reservoir is next to Sage Hen Dam which is a charming site positively worth checking out, and Sage Hen Campground is a perfect campground here. Camping at Sage Hen Reservoir is great fun, Hollywood Point Campground is a great local campground, and nearby you hit upon the Pine Creek Meadow Trail which is a good hiking trail.

So many fun things to do at Sage Hen Reservoir, so little time. Places like Antelope Swale are fine to stop at, and going for a hike on the Little Sage Hen Ridge Trail is always a splendid adventure. And if that's not sufficient there's
loads more amusing stuff to do in the Salmon River Mountains. There's whitewater on Payette River - North Fork for all you adrenaline junkies, and if you need a spot to stay Cascade Vacation Rentals is a good choice. Through the summertime
months at Sage Hen Reservoir temperatures are ordinarily in the 90's, and the overnight is a tad cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Sage
Hen Reservoir.
This lake is so wonderful. Joes Creek flows through this region; there is a wonderful hiking trail nearby called the Telephone Trail.
