And if that's not enough there's a lot more fun things to do in the Sawtooth Range. Take a hike on the Bull Moose Trail, and Heyburn Mountain Campground is a delightful local campground. Now, you may assume that's a heap but there's even more cool stuff to do       here in the Sawtooth Range. The amount of rainfall that falls at Saddleback Lakes is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is mostly January, that's the one that snows the most; the driest month is July. Paddling on Salmon River is so much fun, and Greyhawk by ResortQuest is a splendid place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Get wet paddling on Salmon River, and not far from Saddleback Lakes you'll stumble on Little Baron Lake                  which is a lovely lake. During the months of summer at Saddleback Lakes temperatures are generally in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Saddleback Lakes. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up.
