Ruth Lake is located in the Wallowa Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Little Salmon River, and camping at Seven Devils Campground is always a great experience. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Whitetail Club and Resort is a tremendous choice, and you can observe Black Imp from Ruth Lake. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy       this location. This is a good vicinity for people who like lakes. Crystal Lake is a lake in the neighborhood; good hiking is available along the Old Boise Trail. Throughout the months of summer highs here at Ruth Lake get into the 90's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while Ruth Lake night low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 20's. Ruth Lake is usually a quite dehydrated                  site; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is July. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Wallowa Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Ruth Lake; Deep Creek Trail is a perfect local trail; Stevens Saddle is a glorious site to spend some time. This site, the Wallowa Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Soar down the rapids of Snake River in a kayak, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Salmon Rapids Lodge is a pleasant site to spend a night or two. Some close by water includes Mill Creek, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Emerald Lake.
