Rush Lake is one of the lakes here in the Wallowa Mountains. All through the summertime at Rush Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's while Rush Lake overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 10's. Having a great time in the Wallowa Mountains is easy. Camping       at Lafferty Campground is always a great experience; you need to check out Devils Slide if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Frontier Motel and RV Park, and Hornet Creek-Upper Dam is an exciting thing to check out. Lakes are such calm locations, why not visit Hornet Reservoir in close proximity to Rush Lake. At Rush Lake you don’t see much rainfall; December is the wettest month with most snow while July is the month with the least                  amount of precipitation.
