Not much rainfall falls here at Ruiz Lake; the month with most of the snow is January; the driest month of the year is July. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Wood River, and Wingate by Wyndham Twin Falls / Jerome is a splendid place to get some       rest. You can distinguish Brown Butte from Ruiz Lake, and a brilliant close by hotel is Days Inn Jerome/Twin Falls. A fine place for whitewater paddling right next door to Ruiz Lake is Big Wood River; a lake close by is Corner Reservoir. Through the days of summer at Ruiz Lake highs are                  ordinarily in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's.
