An average amount of precipitation falls at Round Lake; through the month of January you get the most snow around here, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. Prospector Lodge & Cabins is a great place to get some rest. Yeah, come up here to the Clearwater Mountains for a great time. Dry warm beds await you at Dixie Store & Motel, and Round Lake is not the       only place close by, Deer Lake is a close by lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Clearwater Mountains. All the outdoors amusing things in the Clearwater Mountains will keep you coming back many times. There's so much to do here at Round Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wildhorse Lake Campground is a fine location for that, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Salmon River - South Fork. The Pilot Knob Trail offers hiking                  at its best; a pleasant journey to Tepee Flats is a fine way to spend an afternoon. Summer at Round Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's; the night is a tad chillier of course, frequently in the 30's. Throughout the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Round Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Round Lake; Nellie Mountain Trail is a delightful local trail, and if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clearwater River - South Fork. If you came to camp Orogrande Summit Campground is a tremendous site to do that, and Oregon Butte is clearly visible from Round Lake. What a location this is for outdoors people.
