Schweitzer is a great place to do that, and Heath Lake is a glorious lake close by. If you need a location to stay La Quinta Inn Sandpoint is a magnificent choice. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Pack River, and there are other locations here than Round Lake, for example Cocolalla Lake. A tremendous spot like Otts Basin here at Round Lake is too great       to miss, and a pleasant nearby hotel is Inn At Sand Creek. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can have a look at Cocolalla Creek Fish Weir; hiking along the Leiberg-Athol Trail is tremendous fun. Through the months of summer at Round Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 40's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Round Lake. But wait, there's                  more to do near Round Lake. Get wet paddling on Pack River; Sandy Beach Resort is a great campground nearby. There are plenty of people from Coeur d'Alene here at Round Lake, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Green Mountain Trail.
