All through the warmest time of the year, highs typically are in the 80's at Rose Lake with nighttime lows in the 50's. During the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Rose Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Breakwater Campground is a nice spot to do that; don't leave Rose Lake without first going for a hike along the Caribou       Ridge National Recreation Trail. There are other spots here than Rose Lake, for example Killarney Lake; there's perfect hiking along the Boundary Peak Trail. From a rain point of view Rose Lake is a pretty normal place; the wettest month of the year is generally December, that's the one that snows the most, and July on the other hand is the driest. Not far from Rose Lake, you'll stumble on Porters lake which is a pretty lake. There's so much to do here at Rose                  Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Honeysuckle Campground is a fine place for that. That right there is a heap already, but it goes on; Rose Lake has it all. Get your heart beating on the tremendous whitewater of Coeur d'Alene River - Little North Fork; it's a glorious idea to go to Bull Run Creek. This lake is one of the great places here in the Bitterroot Range. All year is a glorious time in the Bitterroot Range if you love the outdoors. A good nearby hotel is La Quinta Inn And Suites Coeur d' Alene. So many fun things to do here in the Bitterroot Range, too fine to be true.
