Nearby lakes? Sure, Snow Lake is in the neighborhood of Roman Nose Lakes, and drift down the rapids of Smith Creek in a kayak. From a precipitation point of view Roman Nose Lakes is a relatively normal site; throughout the month of December you get the most snow around here, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful spot to       camp here at Roman Nose Lakes is Blue Lake RV Park, and after a long day outdoors Schweitzer Mountain Resort is a fine location to spend a night or two. Roman Nose Lakes is great enough to spend more than a day at, Deep Creek Campground is a great local campground, and if you're here you can take a hike along the White Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. This place, Roman Nose Lakes, it completely has so much outdoors fun stuff.
