Go to Rock Point Reservoir if you want to go to a nice lake. Rock Point Reservoir gets very little rainfall; June is when you get the most rain here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Hillside Motor Inn, and going for a hike on the Forty-Four Trail is always a magnificent adventure. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Owyhee River - East Fork, and there are good sites to look at along the Grasshopper

| | Trail. Paddling on Deep Creek is so much fun, and a delightful lake like Burts Reservoir is a brilliant site to pop by. Throughout the long summer days at Rock Point Reservoir temperatures are usually in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Rock Point Reservoir.
