Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Loon Creek, and hiking along the South Fork Trail is brilliant fun. You absolutely have to like the Salmon River Mountains. While you're here at Rock Lakes you can take a hike along the Waterfall Trail; the peak of Sleeping Deer Mountain can be distinguished from Rock Lakes. If you come at the right       time of year, Camas Creek offers some delightful whitewater. Lakes are great; West Fork Lakes is a lake that's in the vicinity of Rock Lakes. Rock Lakes is located in the Salmon River Mountains. Camping at Rock Creek Campground is always a delightful experience; you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the Waterfall Trail.
