Rock Lake is a nice lake to visit. An average amount of rain falls at Rock Lake; the wettest month of the year is commonly January, that's the one that snows the most; July on the other hand is the driest. The Salmon River Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Yep, outdoors cool stuff truly is plentiful here in the Salmon River Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. There's good hiking along the Indian Ridge Trail; Yellow Pine Campground is a glorious local campground. All the outdoors amusing things in the neighborhood of Rock Lake will keep you coming back persistently. Go for a hike on the Parks Peak Trail, and Mccall Super 8 Lodge is a brilliant site to get some rest. Don't leave Rock Lake without first going for a hike along the South Fork Sheep | |

If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Salmon River Mountains. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Salmon River - East Fork of South
Fork; hey, Gotta ski right? Brundage Mountain is a great place to do that. During the summer months, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Rock Lake; the overnight is a tad cooler of course, ordinarily in the 30's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Rock Lake.
