In Idaho there are many beautiful lakes, Rock Lake is one of them. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! Rock Lake is unbeatable! Getting to Bed Ground Creek from Rock Lake is uncomplicated; Lookout Peak can be made out from Rock Lake. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Salmon River Mountains. Camping is available at Lake Cascade State Park; of course, this is a great vicinity for folks who like lakes, Skein Lake is a lake in close proximity.

| | At Rock Lake through the months of summer highs are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Rock Lake are in the 0's.

dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Payette River - North Fork. Why not camp at Water's Edge RV Resort if you're here at Rock Lake, and there is a brilliant hiking trail nearby called the Van Wyck Sheep Trail.
Around Rock Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; December is the month that gets the most snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Rock Lake is a beautiful lake in the Salmon
River Mountains.
So many fun things to do in the Salmon River Mountains, not enough time. On a glorious day at Rock Lake you can take a hike along the Wilson Creek Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Ashley Inn.
