Idaho has many beautiful lakes and Rock Lake is one of them. Stay the night at Water's Edge RV Resort, and after a long day outdoors Cascade Vacation Rentals is a pleasant place to spend a night or two. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Rock Lake. Bed Ground Creek flows through this vicinity, and Lake Cascade State Park is a glorious campground here. This lake is located in the wonderful Salmon River Mountains.

| | Ashley Inn is a good place to get some rest, and don't leave Rock Lake without first going for a hike along the Van Wyck Sheep Trail. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Salmon River Mountains. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Payette River - North Fork. Lookout Peak is clearly visible from Rock Lake, and there's perfect hiking along the Sheep Trail.

Flat is right here at Rock Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Wilson Creek Trail. High temperatures at Rock Lake all through the long summer days are in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. All through the wintertime this place
gets highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Rock Lake. Not much rain falls here at Rock Lake; December is the wettest month with most snow while July is mostly the driest month.
