Rock Lake is a lake worth visiting. And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining things just keep reading. Summertime highs at Rock Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; overnight lows in the 20's for Rock Lake. Here at Rock Lake you can spot Greenside Butte, and do take a hike on the Anderson Butte National Recreation Trail.

Lochsa River, and why not take a refreshing hike along the East Boyd Glover Roundtop National Recreation Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A good location to camp here at Rock Lake is Race Creek Campground, and Rock Lake is right by the Meadow Creek National Recreation Trail.
