Riordan Lake is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is located in the wonderful Salmon River Mountains. A splendid spot to camp here at Riordan Lake is Golden Gate Campground, and going for a hike on the Big Chief Creek Trail is always a great adventure. This lake is so wonderful. There are tremendous places to look at along the Buck Creek Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Ashley Inn. Riordan Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; the month with

| | most of the snow is January, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Brundage Mountain is brilliant; there is a good hiking trail close by called the Indian Creek Trail. Man, is there loads of exciting stuff to do in the Salmon River Mountains. You're possibly hooked on lakes, Caton Lake is one of those nearby, and Salmon River - East Fork of South Fork has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby. So much fun stuff | |

lakes, Black Lake is a lake around here. Summertime highs at Riordan Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 30's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; throughout the dark hours in
the winter at Riordan Lake temperatures descend to the 0's. So many cool things to do at Riordan Lake, so little time. Looking for some flowing water? Try North Fork Riordan Creek; in the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Johnson Creek.
