Riordan Lake is one of the lakes here in the Salmon River Mountains. Having a fine time in the Salmon River Mountains is easy. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not visit Meadow Creek Lake

But wait, there's more entertaining things to do in the Salmon River Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Ashley Inn, and going for a hike on the Big Chief Creek Trail is always a good adventure. Through the warm days of summer here at Riordan Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 30's. | |

For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows at Riordan Lake through the winter regularly sink into the 0's. A day on the slopes of Brundage Mountain is just what you need, and there are fine spots to look
at along the Buck Creek Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. A delightful location to camp here at Riordan Lake is Ice Hole Campground, and Chilcoot Lake is a brilliant lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. The annual precipitation
here at Riordan Lake is about average; the month with most of the snow is January; the driest of the months is July.
You can run the rapids of Salmon River - East Fork of South Fork in the neighborhood of Riordan Lake, and let's not forget North Fork Riordan Creek which is a stream that you may bump into while here.
