Hiking along the South Route Old Nez Perce Trail is glorious fun, and if you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Panther Creek. This lake is located in the wonderful Bitterroot Range. At Reynolds Lake you don’t see much rainfall; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is February.       This lake is so wonderful. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Old Nez Perce Trail, and the peak of Blue Joint can be seen from Reynolds Lake. This site is peerless, just check out all the exciting things to do in close proximity to Reynolds Lake. Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Bitterroot Range. Camping at Horse Creek Hot Springs Campground is always a splendid experience; Salmon River has a glorious                  whitewater paddling spot nearby. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Reynolds Lake. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. Highs throughout the wintertime are ordinarily in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Reynolds Lake temperatures dip to the 0's.
