     Reflection Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Yellowjacket Campground is a good place to camp nearby, and lakes are such serene places, why not take a look at Twin Cove Lake. But wait, there's more to do close to Reflection Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Reflection Lake has to offer, you can camp at Crags Campground, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Waterfall Trail. Reflection Lake is one  
   of the lakes here in the Salmon River Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the South Fork Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and a fine site for whitewater paddling is Panther Creek. At Reflection Lake you don’t see much rain; most of the rain falls during June, and the driest of the months is February. So many enjoyable things to do here in the Salmon River Mountains, too good to be true.
Summertime
 
               brings highs in the 80's to Reflection Lake. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are mostly in the 20's while Reflection Lake nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 0's. The vista of Puddin Mountain from Reflection Lake is charming; hiking along the Ship Island Trail is splendid fun. Man, is there a load of fun stuff to do in the Salmon River Mountains. You can run the rapids of Camas Creek in the neighborhood of Reflection Lake, and you'll find a pretty lake called Echo Lake.
