If you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Salmon River, and dry warm beds await you at Greyhawk by ResortQuest. You clearly have to go for the Sawtooth Range. So much fun stuff to do here at Redfish Lake, too delightful to be true. Redfish Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Heyburn Mountain Campground is a great local campground, and getting to Fishhook       Creek from Redfish Lake is trouble-free. There's splendid hiking along the Yellow Belly Trail; whitewater paddling is delightful on Salmon River. These mountains rock, just check out all the entertaining stuff to do in the Sawtooth Range. If you get bored of Redfish Lake, you could also pop by nearby Lily Lake, and don't leave Redfish Lake without first going for a hike along the Bull Moose Trail. For the duration of the summertime here at Redfish Lake,                  high temperatures mostly reach the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 30's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Redfish Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Redfish Lake is not the only site close by, Bench Lake is a close by lake, and if you came to camp Point Campground is a delightful place to do that.
