A visit to Rattlesnake Lake is always a good idea. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Salmon River, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Sheep Spring. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Clearwater Mountains. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Selway River, and a magnificent spot to stop at is Dead Man Saddle.

The warmest time of the year at Rattlesnake Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
