    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Rattlesnake Lake. Rattlesnake Lake is located in the Clearwater Mountains. For the duration of the months of summer here at Rattlesnake Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. Through the winter the highs are typically in the 30's with temperatures at Rattlesnake Lake dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.

   in one place! The Clearwater Mountains rocks! From Rattlesnake Lake you obtain a delightful vista of Sheep Hill; on a good day you can take a hike along the Old Nez Perce Indian Trail. Having a magnificent time at Rattlesnake Lake is trouble-free. Dead Man Saddle is near Rattlesnake Lake and is unquestionably a good site to check out, and you can stay the night at Bruin Creek Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Sheep Spring is a delightful site to stop by  
               while you're at Rattlesnake Lake, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Chamberlain Trail.
Rattlesnake Lake gets a common amount of yearly precipitation; the wettest month of the year is usually January, that's the one that snows the most; July on the other hand is the driest. Goat Lake is a delightful lake close to Rattlesnake Lake; a perfect site for whitewater paddling is Selway River. Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more cool things to do here in the Clearwater Mountains. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Rattlesnake Lake has to offer, you can camp at Poet Creek Campground, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Nez Perce Trail.
Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Salmon River. Lakes? Sure, Sheep Spring Lake is close by.
