A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Ranger Lake; most of the snow falls during January, and July on the other hand is the driest. If only every place had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great planet it would be. The Lee Ridge Trail offers hiking at its best; Fort Lolo Hot Springs is a brilliant local campground.

Tag Alder Lake
14 miles away
I venture up to Tag Alder every year. It is getting more and more difficult to get up there because of the new growth of trees from the fires of 2000. Once there it is beautiful lake. Another half hour hike up and you will be at the summit of the mountain. There is a nice camp area on North shore. Fishing is best in late spring using small spinners or powerbait....
