This, the Big Flat Creek to Colt Creek Campground sector, is a grade IV-V. This part of White Sand Creek is well well suited for those proficient in whitewater rafting or kayaking. The 13-mile-from-start-to-finish Off Elk Meadows Road to Crooked Creek sector is a grade IV-V+ sector of whitewater on Brushy Fork. Taken
    as a whole this sweep of Brushy Fork is a hard location for whitewater rafting and kayaking. You ought to check restrictions before you go; whitewater rafting and kayaking can become hazardous.
