This lake is located in the wonderful Bitterroot Range. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Ranger Lake; most of the snow falls during January, and July on the other hand is the driest. If only every place had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great planet it would be. The Lee Ridge Trail offers hiking at its best; Fort Lolo Hot Springs is a brilliant local campground. And that's not everything       there is to do here in the Bitterroot Range. Maud Lake is a good lake next to Ranger Lake, and there are other places here than Ranger Lake, for example Siah Lake. Throughout the long summer days at Ranger Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's; the overnight is somewhat colder of course, commonly in the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Ranger Lake. So many cool things in the Bitterroot Range,                  just tremendous. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Ranger Lake; Sally Ridge Trail is a great local trail; since you're here, you could stop by North Fork Storm Creek. Ranger Lake is right by the Saint Mary Peak Trail; if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on White Sand Creek. This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - Hamilton; Brushy Fork has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful.
