Lake Fork Campground is a great campground here, and going for a hike along the Buckhorn Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Rainbow Lakes. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Salmon River - South Fork; lakes are such serene spots, why not go to Buckhorn Lake. Now, you may feel that's a lot but there's even more exciting things to do here in the Salmon River Mountains. You can distinguish Nick Peak from Rainbow Lakes,
and hiking along the Kennally Creek Trail is glorious fun. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is located in the wonderful Salmon River Mountains.
There are some delightful whitewater spots on Secesh River; you can stay the night at Kennally Creek Campground.
