     Rainbow Lakes is a nice lake to visit. Get soaked paddling on Secesh River; you can stay the night at Kennally Creek Campground. The amount of rainfall that falls at Rainbow Lakes is close to the national average; January is the month that gets the most snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. At Rainbow Lakes during the days of summer highs are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with  
   highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Rainbow Lakes are in the 10's.
The Salmon River Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Rainbow Lakes, you'll come across Buckhorn Lake which is a pretty lake, and dry warm beds await you at AmericInn McCall. Lakes? Sure, Kennally Lakes is close by; Buckhorn Hot Spring is a picturesque place to go to while you're at Rainbow Lakes.
You definitely ought to love Rainbow
 
               Lakes. Whitewater paddling is great on Salmon River - South Fork, and do take a hike on the Buckhorn Trail. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the Salmon River Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. Mccall Super 8 Lodge is a brilliant place to get some rest; the Kennally Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Rainbow Lakes is right by the South Fork Buckhorn Trail.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Salmon River Mountains. Nick Peak is clearly visible from Rainbow Lakes, and Rainbow Lakes is a wonderful spot to visit for more than one day, Lake Fork Campground is a wonderful spot to camp nearby.
