    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Rainbow Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Fork Campground is a great campground here, and going for a hike along the Buckhorn Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Rainbow Lakes. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Salmon River - South Fork; lakes are such serene spots, why not go to Buckhorn Lake. Throughout the summertime highs here at Rainbow  
   Lakes reach the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Rainbow Lakes.
Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Salmon River Mountains is excellent! Dry warm beds await you at Hatfield Guest Cabins, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the South Fork Buckhorn Trail. A common amount of rainfall falls
 
               here at Rainbow Lakes; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily January, that's the one that snows the most; July is when it's the driest. Put some time aside to spend at Buckhorn Hot Spring if you're here at Rainbow Lakes; if you need a location to stay Waterhole Lodge is a glorious choice.
Now, you may feel that's a lot but there's even more exciting things to do here in the Salmon River Mountains. You can distinguish Nick Peak from Rainbow Lakes, and hiking along the Kennally Creek Trail is glorious fun. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is located in the wonderful Salmon River Mountains.
There are some delightful whitewater spots on Secesh River; you can stay the night at Kennally Creek Campground.
