Log Mountain can be seen from Rainbow Lake; everybody loves Round Meadow. Trout Creek Campground is a tremendous
campground nearby; Johnson Creek is a good whitewater spot close by. High temperatures at Rainbow Lake through the summertime months are in the 70's with night lows in the 30's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while Rainbow Lake nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's.
