Rainbow Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. Rainbow Lake is a good location to visit for more than one day, Hazard Campground is a good location to camp nearby; if you come at the right time of year, Hard Creek offers some delightful whitewater. And if that's not enough there's lots more exciting stuff to do in the Salmon River Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Whitetail Club and Resort; do take

| | a hike on the Lava Butte Trail. For the duration of the summer months at Rainbow Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 90's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Rainbow Lake drop into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Crestline Trail. From Rainbow Lake you obtain a fine vista of Hard Butte, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Lower Twin Lake. All the outdoors exciting stuff close to Rainbow Lake will
keep you coming back repeatedly. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Hazard Creek, and Best Western Salmon Rapids Lodge is a good site to get some rest. Now, you may think that's heaps but there's even more fun stuff to
do here in the Salmon River Mountains. Hiking along the Broken Leg Trail is perfect fun; a great site to take a look at nearby is Warm Springs Saddle. This lake is located in the wonderful Salmon River Mountains. Rainbow Lake
is pretty waterless usually; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is July. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Rainbow Lake has to offer, you can camp at Allison Creek Campground, and obviously, this is a good region for people who like lakes, Eden Lake is a lake in the vicinity.
