Hiking is a popular thing to do around Rainbow Lake; Broken Leg Trail is a pleasant local trail, and it's a tremendous idea to go to Vance Creek. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Best Western Salmon Rapids Lodge is a tremendous choice; you could always explore Warm Springs Saddle. Rainbow Lake gets very little precipitation; the month with most of the       rain is May, and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Hard Butte is simple to spot from Rainbow Lake, and Hazard Campground is a perfect campground nearby. Rainbow Lake is a splendid place to visit for more than one day, Allison Creek Campground is a splendid place to camp nearby, and a magnificent close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Mccall-The Hunt Lodge, Id. So many cool things to do here in the Salmon River                  Mountains, too splendid to be true. This is a pleasant neighborhood for people who like lakes. Black Lake is a lake close at hand, and the Crestline Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is located in the wonderful Salmon River Mountains. Man, is there heaps of enjoyable things to do near Rainbow Lake. There's magnificent hiking along the Lava Butte Trail; if you come at the right time of year, Hazard Creek offers some magnificent whitewater. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Eden Lake, and drift down the rapids of Hard Creek in a kayak. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Rainbow Lake; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
