Rainbow Lake is a lake worth visiting. For the duration of the long summer days at Rainbow Lake highs are usually in the 90's, and the night is rather cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are ordinarily in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Rainbow Lake. | | by. This lake is so wonderful. There is a brilliant hiking trail near Rainbow Lake called the Crestline Trail. Rainbow Lake is located in the Salmon River Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Near Rainbow Lake you discover Warm Springs Saddle which is a tremendous site to check out. is nice here at Rainbow Lake, you can go for a hike along the Lava Butte Trail, and you obtain a tremendous panorama of Hard Butte from here. Rainbow Lake is a location that is quite waterless generally; during the month of May
you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is July. There's whitewater on Hard Creek for all you adrenaline people, and a quick trip to Vance Creek is certainly a brilliant idea. Man, is there a lot of enjoyable
things to do in the Salmon River Mountains. If you need a location to stay Chair Point Look Out is a great choice, and get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Hazard Creek. So much fun stuff to do here in the Salmon
River Mountains, too tremendous to be true. On a good day at Rainbow Lake you can take a hike along the Broken Leg Trail; you can stay the night at Hazard Campground.
