If you like lakes and you're in this part of Idaho you can check out Raft Lake. And that's not all there is to do here in the Salmon River Mountains. Don't leave Raft Lake without first going for a hike along the Campbell Trail, and in case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Payette River - North Fork. just keep reading. Go for a hike on the Campbell Creek Trail, and getting to Bed Ground Creek from Raft Lake is trouble-free. This lake is so wonderful. Raft Lake is near Skein Lake Dam which is a pretty location unquestionably
worth going to; a trip to Stewarts Meadow revives the spirit. This lake is so wonderful. A nice place for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Raft Lake is Payette River - North Fork; there's great hiking along the Wilson Creek
Trail. Just can't get enough of the Salmon River Mountains. The sight of gorgeous Collier Peak near Raft Lake is good, and a splendid close by hotel is Ashley Inn. After a long day outdoors Mccall Super 8 Lodge is a fine place
to spend a night or two; Raft Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Cascade State Park is a magnificent local campground. The Salmon River Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
