On a fine day at Queen Lake you can take a hike along the Rutledge Creek Trail, and there's some flowing water nearby, Bussard Creek is a stream you can stop at during your stay. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Kootenai River Inn & Casino is a great place to get some rest; the Queen Mountain Trail is a nice hiking trail nearby. Camping is available at Meadow Creek Campground. In case you don’t have a problem       getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Moyie River, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Sidehill Trail. Whitewater paddling is good on Kootenai, and the vista of Queen Mountain is gorgeous. Man, is there a heap of cool stuff to do next to Queen Lake. A fine location to camp here at Queen Lake is Robinson Lake Campground; dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SANDPOINT NORTH. Not much precipitation                  falls here at Queen Lake; November is when you get the most rain here while July is frequently the driest month. Throughout the days of summer highs here at Queen Lake reach the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's.
