Quad Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Having a tremendous time in the Wallowa Mountains is uncomplicated. Mount Belial is picturesque and can be seen from Quad Lake, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Deep Creek Trail. Best Western Salmon Rapids Lodge is a nice spot to get some rest; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Triangle Lake. | | Salmon River is so much fun, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Old Boise Trail. If the weather is perfect here at Quad Lake, you can go for a hike along the Heavens Gate Trail, and Quad Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Windy Saddle Campground is a wonderful local campground. Lake is ordinarily a rather dried out place; May is the wettest month with most rain, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Whitetail Club and Resort is a delightful spot to spend a
night or two. Quad Lake is a beautiful lake in the Wallowa Mountains. For the period of the summertime, highs frequently are in the 90's at Quad Lake with nighttime lows in the 50's. Highs through the winter are usually in the 40's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Quad Lake tend to be in the 20's.
