What a nice lake Quad Lake is. The Seven Devils Mountains towers over Quad Lake; Snake River is a splendid whitewater spot nearby. A beautiful lake like Appendix Lake near Quad Lake is a glorious location to stop at, and if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Salmon River. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Wallowa Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Windy Saddle Campground is a good place to camp;

The Wallowa Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Seven Devils Campground, and hiking along the Old Boise Trail is delightful fun. This lake is so wonderful.

pretty dried out commonly; May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is July. For the duration of the warm months here at Quad Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 90's. Once the sun is down it plunges
down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are typically in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Quad Lake.
And that's not all you can do here at Quad Lake. Going for a hike along the Heavens Gate Trail will
let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and if you need a place to stay Pinehurst Resort is a perfect choice.
