If you are in this part of Idaho make sure to pay a visit to Quad Lake. All year is a good time in the Wallowa Mountains if you love the outdoors. If you come at the right time of year, Little Salmon River offers some great whitewater; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Salmon Rapids Lodge. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Quad Lake. The summit of Mount Belial can be seen from Quad Lake, and the summits of the Seven Devils Mountains add much beauty to the region. the wintertime for Quad Lake tend to be in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Quad Lake is right by the Heavens Gate Trail. Quad Lake is one of the lakes here in the Wallowa Mountains. Around Quad Lake you don’t get a lot of
rainfall; most of the rain falls all through May; the driest month is July. If you need a location to stay Whitetail Club and Resort is a nice choice, and the Old Boise Trail offers hiking at its best.
