If you are in Bonner county it's always a good idea to stop by Providence Lake. This lake is so wonderful. During the summer months highs here at Providence Lake get into the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Providence Lake are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. The White Mountain Trail is a wonderful hiking trail in the neighborhood of Providence Lake, and since you're here you have to stop at Bottle Bay. A quick journey to Garfield Creek near Providence
Lake is a delightful idea, and you can hit the slopes at Schweitzer around here. Garfield Bay Resort is a delightful local campground, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Edgewater Resort is a fine site to spend a night or
two. The annual rain here at Providence Lake is about average; the month with most of the snow is December while July is ordinarily the driest month.
