Sure, Middle Cramer Lake is nearby, and there are good locations to look at along the Yellow Belly Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Salmon River is so much fun, and you can stay the night at Point Campground. So many fun things to do here at Profile Lake, too perfect to be true. You can never get enough of the great skiing at Soldier Mountain Ski Resort; going       for a hike on the Bull Moose Trail is always a wonderful adventure. Profile Lake is a good site of common precipitation; all through January this area sees the most snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is located in the wonderful Sawtooth Range. Not far from Profile Lake, you'll hit upon Upper Cramer Lake which is a beautiful lake; Finger Of Fate is something you shouldn't miss if you're here. That right there is loads                  of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Sawtooth Range has it all. The sight of The Arrowhead from Profile Lake is striking; you can go for a hike on the Yuba River Trail. Float down the rapids of Salmon River in a kayak. There's so much to do here at Profile Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Heyburn Mountain Campground is a perfect place for that. This lake is so wonderful. For the duration of the warm months at Profile Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's with night lows in the 40's.
