If you're here at Priest Lake, do take a visit to Outlet Bay, and Outlet Mountain is clearly visible from Priest Lake. Camping at Priest Lake is tremendous fun, Dickensheet Campground is a tremendous local campground, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Hanna Flast Nature Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Schweitzer Mountain Resort       is a fine choice, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Chipmunk Rapids National Recreation Trail. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Priest River, and if you came for an overnight stay Osprey Campground is a pleasant spot to camp. During the warm days of summer here at Priest Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime                  at Priest Lake temperatures plunge to the 10's. A quick journey to Binarch Creek next to Priest Lake is a perfect idea. Priest Lake is a good location of common rainfall; during December this area sees the most snow, and the driest month of the year is July. If you go for the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Priest Lake.
