This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Prairie Lakes is not the only site nearby, Smoky Lake is a nearby lake. There's so much to do here at Prairie Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Prairie Campground is a great spot for that. Prairie Lakes is brilliant enough to spend more than a       day at, Baker Creek Campground is a brilliant local campground; what would winter be without some skiing at Soldier Mountain Ski Resort. At Prairie Lakes during the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 30's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; nighttime lows through the wintertime for Prairie Lakes tend to be in the-10's. All the outdoors exciting things in the Sawtooth Range                  will keep you coming back many times. Gotta ski! Sun Valley is a perfect site to do that, and dry warm beds await you at Greyhawk by ResortQuest. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Prairie Lakes, you could also explore close by Miner Lake. The Sawtooth Range scenery is always beautiful.
