A visit to Potter Lake is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Big Roaring River Lake Campground is a good location to camp, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Boise River - North Fork. So many cool things close to Potter Lake, just amazing. This is a pleasant neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Smith Creek Lake is a lake in close proximity, and there are glorious places to discover along the Hot Springs Creek

| | Trail. Going for a hike on the Devils Creek Trail is always a great adventure, and if you come at the right time of year, Boise River - South Fork offers some pleasant whitewater. For the duration of the long summer days at Potter Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's while Potter Lake nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's. | |
