Go to Pothole Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. The Salmon River Mountains scenery is always beautiful. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun things the Salmon River Mountains has to offer. After a long day outdoors Darling Creek Bed & Breakfast is a great location to spend a night or two. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The Salmon River Mountains is excellent! Don't leave Pothole Lake without first going for a hike along the Waterfall

| | Trail, and a beautiful lake like Airplane Lake is a pleasant spot to visit.
There's splendid hiking along the Clear Creek Trail; Yellowjacket Campground is a great campground here. If you came for an overnight stay Crags Campground is a perfect place to camp, and the peak of Bighorn Crags can be seen from Pothole Lake. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do near Pothole Lake. Good hiking is available along the Ship Island Trail, and get your pulse | |

This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Camas Creek next to Pothole Lake, and Pothole Lake lays in the shadow of the Bighorn Crags. Through the months of summer
at Pothole Lake highs are frequently in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and night lows all through the wintertime for Pothole Lake tend to
be in the 0's. At Pothole Lake you don’t see much rain; the wettest month of the year is mostly June, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
