    What a nice lake Pot Lake is. Now, you may believe that's heaps but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Salmon River Mountains. If you need a site to stay Hatfield Guest Cabins is a wonderful choice, and an out of the ordinary thing to take a look at close to Pot Lake is Box Lake Dam. Summertime at Pot Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are  
   in the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Pot Lake temperatures dip to the 20's. And if that's not enough there's heaps more entertaining things to do in the Salmon River Mountains. Near Pot Lake you come across the Box Lake Trail which is a good hiking trail, and camping is available at Lake Fork Campground.
This lake is so wonderful. Beaverdam Peak is a peak you can catch a glimpse of from Pot Lake, and camping at Black Lee Campground
 
               is always a brilliant experience. If only every spot had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great world it would be. Getting to Black Lee Creek from Pot Lake is trouble-free, and you can go for a hike on the Crestline Trail. Pot Lake is a beautiful lake in the Salmon River Mountains.
Around Pot Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is July. Going for a hike on the Fall Creek Trail is always a perfect adventure, and lakes are such calm spots, why not visit Box Lake. There's whitewater on Payette River - North Fork for all you thrill seekers, and beaches are glorious and North Beach is no exception.
This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant close by hotel is Best Western Inn.
