If you are in this part of Idaho make sure to pay a visit to Pot Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Box Lake Dam has good water scenery and it's right next door to Pot Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Box Lake Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Salmon River Mountains. Yeah, come up here to the Salmon River Mountains for a tremendous time. You get a great vista of Beaverdam Peak from Pot Lake, and why not check out close by Black Lee

At Pot Lake you don’t see much rain; most of the rain falls through May, and the driest month of the year is July. All the outdoors amusing things in the Salmon River Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. Take a hike on the Fall Creek Trail, and a delightful lake like Marge Lake is a magnificent location to visit. So many enjoyable things to do here at Pot Lake, too good to be true. Lake Fork Campground is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Payette River - North Fork. There's so much to do here at Pot Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Black Lee
Campground is a perfect place for that.
During the months of summer here at Pot Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 90's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. The winter comes
with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Pot Lake. Box Lake is a magnificent lake close to Pot Lake, and you have to absolutely have a look at charming North Beach if you're here.
