    Pot Holes is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. Super 8 Motel - Heyburn/ Burley Area is a good site to get some rest. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. The Rangers Trail is a splendid hiking trail next to Pot Holes; if you need a site to stay Best Western Burley Inn & Convention Center is a tremendous choice. Put some time aside to spend at Bull Spring while you're here at Pot Holes,  
   and Pot Holes sits in the shade of the Albion Mountains.
Pot Holes is a location that is pretty dried up regularly; May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February. There's so much to do here at Pot Holes that you need to camp here for a while, Brackenbury Campground is a tremendous site for that, and pleasant skiing awaits you at Pomerelle Mountain. At Pot Holes you can make out Albion Mountains, and Pot Holes is great enough to spend
 
               more than a day at, Thompson Flat Campground is a great local campground.
During the days of summer at Pot Holes temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's, and night lows through the wintertime for Pot Holes tend to be in the 10's. Visiting City Of Rocks National Reserve is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and nearby you come across the California Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Pot Holes is not far at all from Burley, and Basin-Elba Pass is a great site to spend some time.
