Idaho has many beautiful lakes and Porters lake is one of them. So many entertaining things in the Bitterroot Range, just tremendous. Go for a hike on the Caribou Ridge National Recreation Trail; Fourth Of July Canyon is also a good site to discover. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Porters lake while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are frequently in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Porters lake. This

This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Porters lake without first going for a hike along the Boundary Peak Trail, and there's whitewater on Coeur d'Alene River - Little North Fork for all you adrenaline rush seekers. short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Bitterroot Range. There's so much to do here at Porters lake that you need to camp here for a while, Kahnderosa RV Park Campground is a perfect location for that, and a great close by
hotel is Pines Motel.
Not far from Porters lake, you'll stumble on Rose Lake which is a delightful lake, and why not take a little journey to Bull Run Creek if you're here. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the
enjoyable stuff at Porters lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Porters lake has to offer, you can camp at Breakwater Campground, and you can run the rapids of St. Maries River. Porters lake is located in the Bitterroot
Range.
If the weather is wonderful, you obtain a wonderful sight of Bull Run Peak from Porters lake; Bennett Bay Inn is a delightful spot to get some rest.
