Mountain View Lodge is a good choice. Through the summertime months here at Porcupine Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs
in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Porcupine Lake temperatures descend to the 0's.
This lake is so wonderful. On a fine day at Porcupine Lake you can take a hike along the De Coster Trail, and Porcupine
Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Bear Gulch Campground is a fine local campground. Sawmill Creek is a tremendous local stream.
