     The beauty of Porcupine Lake attracts many people from all around. Best Western Teton West is a splendid spot to get some rest; while you're here you can take a hike along the West Boundary Trail. Porcupine Lake truly is in the middle of a stunning outdoors paradise. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Falls River, and hey, Gotta ski right? Grand Targhee is a pleasant location to do that. There is a brilliant hiking trail  
   in close proximity to Porcupine Lake called the Boundary Creek Trail. There's so much to do here at Porcupine Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Squirrel Creek Guest Ranch and Inn is a great place for that.
At Porcupine Lake you don’t see much rainfall; January is the month that gets the most snow, and July is the month with the least moisture. There's whitewater on Robinson Creek for all you adrenaline people; if you need a location to stay Teton
 
               Mountain View Lodge is a good choice. Through the summertime months here at Porcupine Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Porcupine Lake temperatures descend to the 0's.
This lake is so wonderful. On a fine day at Porcupine Lake you can take a hike along the De Coster Trail, and Porcupine Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Bear Gulch Campground is a fine local campground. Sawmill Creek is a tremendous local stream.
