Lakes are great; Tule Lake is a lake that's near Porcupine Lake, and the Boundary Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Porcupine Lake has to offer, you can camp at Bear Gulch Campground; unsurprisingly Sawmill Creek is a pretty stream that is worth taking a look at. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do right next door to Porcupine Lake. Don't leave Porcupine Lake without first going for a hike along

| | the West Boundary Trail; soar down the rapids of Robinson Creek in a kayak. It is very waterless here at Porcupine Lake usually; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Grand Targhee is a tremendous local ski area. Porcupine Lake is a delightful spot to visit for more than one day, Squirrel Creek Guest Ranch and Inn is a delightful spot to camp nearby, and get covered with water | |

paddling on Falls River. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Cub Lake, and after a long day outdoors Teton Mountain View Lodge is a fine site to spend a night
or two. High temperatures at Porcupine Lake through the warm months are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures
at Porcupine Lake dip into the 0's. If you need a location to stay Best Western Teton West is a tremendous choice, and there's splendid hiking along the De Coster Trail.
