Why not camp at Mill Canyon Campground while you're here at The Ponds, and the summit of Harrington Peak can be spotted from The Ponds. Grand Teton National Park is a very delightful location to stop by right next door to The Ponds, and The Ponds is right by the Oregon Trail - Lander Cutoff. During the long summer days at The Ponds highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down       to the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are typically in the 30's while the cold winter nights at The Ponds are in the 10's. While you're here at The Ponds it's a good idea to pop by Big Basin, and camping is available at Summit View Campground.
