This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the South Fork Trail, and you can stay the night at South Fork Campground. Hiking along the Waterfall Trail is magnificent fun. There's so much to do here at Pole Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Rock Creek Campground is a perfect site for that. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Salmon River Mountains. Camas Creek is a great whitewater spot in       the neighborhood of Pole Lake; a great close by hotel is Darling Creek Bed & Breakfast. All through the months of summer at Pole Lake highs are mostly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 30's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Pole Lake tend to be in the-10's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Salmon River Mountains. This place, Pole Lake, it completely has so much outdoors                  cool stuff. If you get bored of Pole Lake, you could also visit nearby Liberty Lakes. In the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Loon Creek; going for a hike along the Waterfall Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
