Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! The Salmon River Mountains rocks! Lakes are such serene places, why not go to Rock Lakes in the vicinity of Pole Lake. There's so much to do here at Pole Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Rock Creek Campground is a brilliant site for that. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Pole Lake has to offer, you can camp at South Fork Campground, and going for       a hike along the Waterfall Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Liberty Lakes is a great lake next to Pole Lake, and if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Camas Creek. High temperatures at Pole Lake through the summertime are in the 70's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 30's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and night lows in the-10's for Pole Lake.                  It is very dried out here at Pole Lake typically; December is when you get the most snow here, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Loon Creek; you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the South Fork Trail. So much fun stuff to do at Pole Lake, so little time. If the weather is great here at Pole Lake, you can go for a hike along the Waterfall Trail.
