    In Idaho there are many beautiful lakes, Poison Lake is one of them. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Anderson Creek Trail; the vista of beautiful Lone Tree is brilliant. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Poison Lake; Jungle Creek Trail is a great local trail, and a tour to Burnt Wagon Basin revitalizes the spirit. Yeah, come here to Poison Lake for a splendid time. If you need a place to stay Ashley Inn is a splendid  
   choice, and camping at Poison Lake is fine fun, Amanita Campground is a fine local campground.
This lake is located in the wonderful Salmon River Mountains. Poison Lake is commonly a relatively dried up place; most of the snow falls during December; July is when it's the driest. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things in the Salmon River Mountains. Soar down the rapids of Payette River - North Fork in a kayak.

               right there is plenty of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Salmon River Mountains has it all. There's wonderful hiking along the Arling Trail; dry warm beds await you at Long Valley Motel. Summertime highs at Poison Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Poison Lake. Poison Lake is a tremendous site to camp, Poison Creek Campground is a tremendous site, and get drenched paddling on Payette River - North Fork.
