This lake is located in the wonderful Salmon River Mountains. Poison Lake is commonly a relatively dried up place; most of the snow falls during December; July is when it's the driest. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things in the Salmon River Mountains. Soar down the rapids of Payette River - North Fork in a kayak.

frequently tend to be in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Poison Lake. Poison Lake is a tremendous site to camp, Poison Creek Campground is a tremendous site, and get drenched paddling on Payette River - North Fork.
