You get a brilliant view of Poison Butte from Poison Creek Reservoir. Lakes are fine; Lake Pit Reservoir is a lake that's close to Poison Creek Reservoir. Not much rain falls here at Poison Creek Reservoir; November is when you get the most rain here while July is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.       There's so much to do here at Poison Creek Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Jarbidge National Forest Campground is a delightful place for that, and whitewater paddling is good on Jarbidge. Not far from Poison Creek Reservoir, you'll locate Post Office Reservoir which is a stunning lake, and nearby you come across the Batt Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. Be careful coming to Poison Creek Reservoir, you might not ever wanna return                  back home again. Paddling on Jarbidge River - West Fork is so much fun. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Poison Creek Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Sawmill National Forest Campground. Through the long summer days at Poison Creek Reservoir temperatures are regularly in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 30's with temperatures at Poison Creek Reservoir dipping down into the 20's through winter nights.
