A great site for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Plummer Lake is Salmon River, and if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Yuba River Trail. Any time is a great time at Plummer Lake if you go for the outdoors. While you're here at Plummer Lake, you could also visit beautiful Everly Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Powerplant Campground is a good site to camp. This lake is one of the great places       here in the Sawtooth Range. All through the summertime, highs usually are in the 80's at Plummer Lake. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; nighttime lows at Plummer Lake through the wintertime generally sink into the 10's. That right there is heaps of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Sawtooth Range has it all. Grandjean Campground is a good local campground, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Bull Moose Trail. Be careful coming to the Sawtooth Range, you might not ever wanna return back home again.
