It's always fun to stop by Piper Lake. The Salmon River Mountains scenery is always beautiful. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the area next to Piper Lake has to offer. Devils Ladder is an interesting thing to see if you're here at Piper Lake. There's so much to do here at Piper Lake that you need to camp here for a while, State Campground Recreation Site is a good location for that. Now, you may assume that's a heap but there's

| | even more exciting stuff to do here in the Salmon River Mountains. Don't leave Piper Lake without first going for a hike along the Broken Leg Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Little Salmon River. Piper Lake is not the only site close by, Elk Lake is a close by lake, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Salmon Rapids Lodge is a perfect site to spend a night or two. Piper Lake ordinarily; the wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in
one place! The Salmon River Mountains is so good! Devils Hole is a beautiful place any time of year, and you can go for a hike on the Lava Butte Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Pinehurst Resort is a nice location to get some rest,
and there's whitewater on Hard Creek for all you adrenaline people. There's delightful hiking along the Heavens Gate Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Piper Lake has to offer, you can camp at Allison Creek Campground.
Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Piper Lake. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are frequently in the 40's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Piper Lake tend to be in the 20's.
