What a nice lake Pinyon Lake is. Get wet paddling on Loon Creek; why not camp at Phillips Creek Transfer Campground while you're here at Pinyon Lake. Just can't get enough of the Salmon River Mountains. Drift down the rapids of Rapid River in a kayak; there are fine places to discover along the Shellrock Ridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Pinyon Peak is uncomplicated to spot from Pinyon Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Tincup Campground is a pleasant

Pinyon Lake is pretty dried out commonly; the month with most of the snow is December, and the driest of the months is July. During the summer highs here at Pinyon Lake reach the 70's while night lows are regularly in the 30's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Pinyon Lake. This location rocks, just look at all the entertaining stuff to do near Pinyon Lake.

Blue Lake in the neighborhood of Pinyon Lake is a great location to have a look at, and don't leave Pinyon Lake without first going for a hike along the Garden Creek Trail. Pinyon Lake is a beautiful lake in the Salmon River Mountains.
