Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Yellow Belly Trail. There's so much to do here at Pettit Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Alturas Inlet Campground is a brilliant place for that. It is very dehydrated here at Pettit Lake typically; during the month of December you get the most snow around here, and July is the month with the least moisture. Not enough hours in       a day to enjoy this place. Going for a hike along the Bull Moose Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; whitewater paddling is splendid on Salmon River. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Soldier Mountain Ski Resort is glorious. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Pettit Lake has to offer, you can camp at Smoky Bear Campground. Pettit Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sawtooth Range. Summertime highs                  at Pettit Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 30's. During the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the-10's for Pettit Lake. Be careful coming to the Sawtooth Range, you might not ever want to go back home again.
