All through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Perkons Lake fall into the 0's. Head up to Soldier Mountain Ski Resort and strap some skis to your feet, and there are pleasant places to discover along the Yuba River Trail. What       a site this is for outdoors folks. Take a little spree to Bass Creek if you're here at Perkons Lake, and River Bend Campground is a good campground nearby. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sawtooth Range. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Greyhawk by ResortQuest, and the vista of Two Point Mountain is scenic. So many entertaining things to do here in the Sawtooth Range, too good to be true. You could also pop by                  Little Bear Lake since you're here at Perkons Lake; it's nearby, and Perkons Lake is a nice site to visit for more than one day, Skeleton Campground is a nice site to camp nearby. Perkons Lake gets very little precipitation; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is good on Salmon River, and don't leave Perkons Lake without first going for a hike along the Yellow Belly Trail. Man, is there heaps of enjoyable things to do in the Sawtooth Range. Nearby lakes?
