This lake is so wonderful. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Perkons Lake. Lakes are great; Goat Lake is a lake that's near Perkons Lake, and a glorious place to camp here at Perkons Lake is Skeleton Campground. Having a perfect time in the Sawtooth Range is easy. There's whitewater on Salmon River for all you adrenaline kick people, and a       day on the slopes of Soldier Mountain Ski Resort is just what you need. But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Sawtooth Range. Not far from Perkons Lake, you'll stumble on Ross Fork Lakes which is a pretty lake, and there are great places to discover along the Yuba River Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Sawtooth Range. Going for a hike on the Bremner Trail is always a delightful adventure; Bass Creek is one of the streams nearby that                  might be worth stopping at. Perkons Lake gets very little rainfall; December is the wettest month with most snow; the driest month is August. This lake is so wonderful. Perkons Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, River Bend Campground is a brilliant local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Greyhawk by ResortQuest. Go for a hike on the Yellow Belly Trail; here at Perkons Lake you can see Two Point Mountain. Throughout the long summer days here at Perkons Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's.
