So many fun things to do here at Perkins Lake, too tremendous to be true. Why not camp at Meadow Creek Campground since you're here at Perkins Lake, and if you need a place to stay Sandpoint Super 8 Motel is a good choice. There are fine sites to look at along the Ruby Ridge Trail, and you can observe Solomon Mountain from Perkins Lake. Near Perkins Lake you find the Burro Ridge Trail which is a glorious hiking       trail, and you can run the rapids of Kootenai. Camping at Perkins Lake is wonderful fun, Copper Creek Campground is a wonderful local campground, and perhaps you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Bonner Lake is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Kootenai River Inn & Casino, and Moyie River is a tremendous whitewater spot nearby. Summertime highs at Perkins Lake generally tend to be in the 80's.                  When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Perkins Lake temperatures plunge to the 20's. Going for a hike on the Leonia Trail is always a wonderful adventure.
