The snow is fine at Soldier Mountain Ski Resort, and you're in all probability into lakes, Pettit Lake is one of those nearby. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Sawtooth Range has to offer. Smoky Bear Campground is a delightful campground nearby, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Yellow Belly Trail. Be careful coming to Perkins Lake, you might       not ever wanna return back home again. Soar down the rapids of Salmon River in a kayak, and on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Bull Moose Trail. At Perkins Lake during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 30's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while Perkins Lake night low temperatures during the winter are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful.                  Stay the night at Alturas Inlet Campground; there's some flowing water close by, West Beaver Creek is a stream you can take a look at during your stay. Perkins Lake is a location that is rather dry generally; December is the month that gets the most snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
