Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more exciting things to do here in the Bitterroot Range. Lake Pend Oreille is right by the Green Mountain Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Inn At Sand Creek. Going       for a hike along the Ermine Ridge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; Lake Pend Oreille is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Beyond Hope RV Park is a tremendous local campground. A visit to Deadman Point near Lake Pend Oreille is always a pleasant idea, and Best Western Edgewater Resort is a tremendous spot to get some rest. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The Bitterroot Range is peerless!. For the period                  of the warm months highs here at Lake Pend Oreille get into the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Lake Pend Oreille drop into the 10's. Any time is a tremendous time at Lake Pend Oreille if you adore the outdoors. Paddling on Couer d'Alene River - Big North Fork is so much fun; a wonderful site to camp here at Lake Pend Oreille is Samowen Campground.
