What a nice lake Payette Lake is. After a long day outdoors AmericInn McCall is a good place to spend a night or two, and Lakeview Village RV Park is a wonderful campground nearby. So much entertaining stuff in the Salmon River Mountains, just mind-boggling. Dry warm beds await you at Mccall Super 8 Lodge; if you like swamps you're in luck, Lily Marsh is right close by. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Salmon River Mountains. A nice site

| | for whitewater paddling next to Payette Lake is Payette River - North Fork; a day at beautiful Sylvan Beach right next door to Payette Lake is a wonderful thing to do.
So many cool things to do at Payette Lake, so little time. It's a great idea to take a look at Sylvan Creek, it's close to Payette Lake; a golf course close by is City of McCall Golf Course. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Salmon River Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. | |

Do schedule some time to take a look at Duck Bay near Payette Lake if you have a chance, and you can go for a hike on the Louie Lake Trail.
Just can't get enough of Payette Lake. A lake close by is Little Payette Lake; you can
stay the night at Buck Park Cabin - Payette National Forest. Throughout the summer months at Payette Lake temperatures are mostly in the 90's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to
the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Payette Lake temperatures fall to the 20's. On a pretty day you can go to North Beach right next door to Payette Lake; going for a hike on the Box Lake Trail is always a pleasant
adventure.
This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Payette Lake, you could also go to close by Payette Lake, and Lightning Point is something you shouldn't miss if you're here. It is very arid here at Payette Lake frequently;
May is the wettest month with most rain; July meanwhile is the driest month. There is a magnificent hiking trail near Payette Lake called the Fall Creek Trail, and great water scenery is available at Rio Vista Dam near Payette Lake.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Salmon River Mountains.
