Partridge Creek Lake is located in the Salmon River Mountains. Be careful coming to Partridge Creek Lake, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Hard Butte is gorgeous and can be seen from Partridge Creek Lake, and there's great hiking along the Broken Leg Trail. During the days of summer here at Partridge Creek Lake, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 90's with overnight lows in       the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Partridge Creek Lake are in the 20's. At Partridge Creek Lake you don’t see much rainfall; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is July. You absolutely must like the Salmon River Mountains. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Upper Twin Lake; a magnificent site for whitewater paddling is Hard Creek. This                  is a nice area for folks who like lakes. Lower Twin Lake is a lake around here, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Hazard Creek. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Partridge Creek Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hazard Campground is a perfect place for that, and don't leave Partridge Creek Lake without first going for a hike along the Lava Butte Trail. These mountains rock, just check out all the amusing stuff to do in the Salmon River Mountains.
